Activities & Services

Activities

We offer an array of activities for our residents at Sanborn Gratiot Memorial Home and encourage participation in in-house activities as well as community programs and events to promote an active and energetic lifestyle. Activities that residents may choose to engage in include:

• Exercise programs
• Holiday festivities
• Arts and crafts
• Entertainment by community groups and volunteers
• Bingo and other games
• On-site barber and beauty salon
• Routine visits by a podiatrist
• Dial-A-Ride bus service coordination
• Community senior programs

Personal Care Services

Medication Coordination and Administration:

Our staff is trained to administer medications to residents as prescribed by a Doctor or other health care provider and on-site supervision of medication coordination is provided by a Registered Nurse.

Bathing Assistance:

Our staff will provide assistance with bathing on a regular schedule based upon the needs and preferences of each resident. (Minimum one time per week.)

Laundry:

Our staff will launder up to 4 loads of personal laundry per month.

Other Personal Care:

Our highly skilled paraprofessional caregivers are available to provide resident specific care on a regular basis with items such as:

• Dressing
• Oral Hygiene
• Hearing aids
• Toileting
• Other resident specific needs
